Abstracts

Authors are invited to submit a maximum of one-page abstracts (in English), clearly stating the main objectives and methodologies used in their work. All abstracts will be peer-reviewed based on originality, technical quality, and presentation. Authors are asked to prepare an Abstract in the form of both Word doc and PDF (Portable Document Format) files, only one abstract per author, which must be in accordance with the given template.

In order to submit your Abstract contribution please email both files (word and pdf) to: ifc14@tecnico.ulisboa.pt

When submitting an abstract for a particular symposium please indicate so in your email.

Abstract Selection Process

The Scientific Committee will make the selection of abstracts. The corresponding author (presenter) will receive an e-mail with the result of the review and the Scientific Committee's decision on the submitted abstract. If a selected author cannot attend, the presenting author should assign a replacement.

Extended Abstracts

All submitted extended abstracts will be peer-reviewed.

Accepted extended abstracts will be published in the Book of Abstracts. Extended abstract deadline: 26th April 2026

A submission of the Extended abstract is not compulsory for attending the conference. However, participants with accepted abstracts are invited to submit a Extended abstract of a maximum length of 4 pages. The extended abstracts will be published on electronic media with an ISBN number.

Authors are asked to prepare a Extended abstract, in the same manner as the Abstract, in the form of both, Word doc and PDF (Portable Document Format) files, which must be in accordance with Conference style guidelines, as given in the given template.
